Faithless - Insomnia (2016 Remix) I've lay down and listen to it precise and not only from the expert point of view, also from the newbie one.
First of all, I haven't heared your remix back in 2013 so you have now a total neutral review over here.
It isnice when you made a remix and remaster it when you saw it wasn't so good. But I don't think this is Dubstep. It's like it used to be Dubstep but it's more Trap in my ears. Also for Dubstep the drops are just too slow. I had the feeling the bpm is under 90 which is kinda sad for such a good remastered song.
The guy's voice was a bit stoned I felt, maybe it's wanted like that, maybe not. It just made me more tired but when I hear Dubstep, I want to have the feeling of 360 NoScope everyone in cod or stay up all night rock in everygame I play you know?
This is MY point of view, after all it's a nice remastered version of a song I don't know, the rythm was ongoing, everytime so correct I could play my guitar to that. (Maybe I will, if you want so, just gimme a PM) and also I thought sometimes you could use another voice(gimme a PM if you also want to have another one maybe) and I just listened to that song, told my bro he came over and was like "This is good. But there's still something needed. I dunno what but it's not round yet you know?" and yep, I know what he means, maybe you know too.
A good song, not quite perfect, still some thins here and there that could be better but in fact - a nice work. Keep 'em goin'!
