Very rythmic, very melodical, very experimental though, never heard any dubstep tune like this. I like it. I think Dubstep's your thing. I like this one better than the other tune, though the other one's good aswell. I personally would say, work with the bass like a drumkit in Metal. Make it hard when it's loud and make it soft when it's quiet/soft. After all I somehow missed something in this tune. I dunno what it was, probably something like a climax which almost every tune has that I know. I mean as far as I know, dubstep builds up to a climax point where everything gets dropped as hard as possible. A.K.A. Skrillex dropping a big pile of doo doo if you know what I mean ;D

However, try to experiment with some more genres and find out if there's something that you're maybe much much better in. I mean you're rn a better musician than most people I review, cos mostly I'm here to help ppl get the basics or advanced things. You, my friend, probably have the stuff either in your blood or already know that basic and avdvanced stuff and now need to either find your personal top genre or work in the genre you like and learn the details for that.

But it won't hurt learning the basics of the details from other genres. ;) Maybe it helps creating something completely new, just imagine the possibilites.

Anyway, keep doing what you do and you will improve :) As said, you're on the right side of the road.

Dodecagon34 responds:

Thanks for all the advice man. As a matter of fact, I've made it a personal goal to tackle as many different sub genres as I can. My next target is drum and bass, and it's about 80% done right now. Will probably finish sometime this week.

It's not bad, but it feels like it's missing something/it could be better, the thing is - I am really fckn bad at making beats. But I'd still use this to rap on that. I just think you could use this loop and expand it a little bit more. I feel like the base melody could be worked out until you get a complete song.

I suggest trying to make a song out of it - even if it'll sound bad first, just try and try until it sounds good, get some critique on NG and work on it again.

Which btw. is how you progress in being a creator on this platform ;)

However, I can't say I could've done any better but I ain't a standard for that. What I wanna say is - you're on the right side of the road, you just need to go further and have the braveness to accept mistakes. I just think you uploaded this because you were scared of mistakes / bad ideas.

Lemme tell you - there are no bad ideas and if you have "no idea" what to add, you're in the wrong profession. But you're not. So what you have is too much ideas. And when you start realizing that, you can work on how you work on your ideas, how you filter out the good ideas and how to make a sick tune.

But first things first - just start. Somewhere. Or actually, continue working on this tune. I'm sure it'll be sick AF when you're done. - When you're actually done ;)

DJ-Silent responds:

Thanks you, your review made my day, im working by now in some remixes, not because im out of ideas, is because im still learning how to use FX studio and audicity, but i really could make a full versión of this song, thank you very much

Good shit. Just make more songs. You'll improve if you're self critical AF. If so - 3 Tips

1 - Take your time. Like try to take yourself several days for each workstep because tip 2
2 - Sleep after you think you're done, the next day you'll have a complete different look at your work which will help improve a lot
3 - ONLY RELEASE IF >>>>YOU<<<< ARE HAPPY WITH YOUR WORK - When I release a Poetry video I always get the reaction from myself I want to reach in the viewer/listener.

5/5 I scouted you for the audio portal.

Allinatormusic responds:

Thx a million man, really appreciate it

:) :) :)

I will listen to your feedback and take it on board, I really need someone telling me that I suck because it boots my confidence XD. I would love to make more songs, there's at least another 5 coming in this album, it's just that some of them sound the same and I'm busy making and rehearsing other ones.

Thanks again,

AllinatorBEATS

I can't hear some of the lines. Anyway, I am normally the one doing long reviews like etelik here. But he's obviously your Electrical Music Expert. I'm just the artist, expressionist and guy who teaches you the basics of the basics. And in this case I even don't have anything to tell you except listen to etelik when he reviews your stuff.

Honestly I can't hear anything wrong from that track so yah. *nothing to do here*
5/5

death2go responds:

Thanks for the review! Also want to point out theres a reborn version of this thats different people say its better but i guess its up to opinion, ive tried to match etelik's advice in the timespan i had, but the advice he game will be beneficial in the longrun, once again thanks for the review!

I read "Drums of Mordor" and the first thing I listen to is some electric instrument bull...
Now don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of LotR and I know that the "Drums of Mordor" would sound like wardrums, telling you with the sound of their drums that they'l f*cking scoop your eyeballs, slit your throat, put your eyeballs in your throat and rip off your chest with their bare hands.

Hey don't get me wrong mate but stuff like this very seriously and you should think about it before you make something including a fandom with it. Mordor is a place of Uruk'hai, Orcs, Goblins, Beasts. If there's any of them playing a xylophon-like instrument making a song like this sounds like I'm sure he's not living for much long in Mordor.

You know which place this might be more fitting to? Elrond- Or at least somewhere like that. If you make "Drums of Mordor" make sure this song sounds like PURE EVILNESS and PURE HATE, ANGER and DESTRUCTION. Cos that's what Mordor means in the LotR Universe.

Now that I gave you a really long lesson in Nerdtology - to the track.

It isn't bad. It's really oldschool RPG-like, felt almost like WoW Classic on Alliance side or like Ultima I - XIII, the first Might and Magic and so on. It reminds me of the days where the internet was something you accidentally enabled on your phone and you panickly tried to disable it ASAP. Go on wih your work. It's like an oldschool pixely diamond that needs some grinding, some polishing. But don't you fricking dare to call a track like this "Drums of Mordor" ;D

BMBRJCK responds:

Sorry for the inconvenience! It was just a no-brainer ;)
The drum preset was called mordor :D

But anyway, thanks for the comment!

I like how 'tits' is in the tags xD
Another pretty nice track, only thing at SOME point, I really tried so fricking hard to find it again but I just couldn't find it! >_<
Well at SOME point it sounded pretty weird.
A bit too weird.

But actually that's all I've got to say today, some pretty COOL track mate \m/

DanJohansen responds:

Lmao! Glad you liked it man! I def don't think there's anything weird, I would have noticed XD Rock on man! \m/

Listen to this while kill enemys in Diablo 3 or Devilian. Or better DOOM and the day is bloody great! Hehehe :D

Another Track in thy halls of epicness!

DanJohansen responds:

Hhaa thx brotha! Dig your reviews man, always appreciate it!

Uuuuh an epic song. I love the epic genre.

But it seems you already know everything you need to know. Technically the song is perfect.

Now to my opinion.
It sounded awesome.

Well I have no idea what you do here on NG with such good music like that. Go and prdouce your music for games or stuff. Really man. This is beyond awesome.

THIS IS EPIC.

EagleGuard responds:

Haha, thank you very much! I'm always looking for new ways to improve my music, but I'm glad you were willing to give it a perfect score :)

To be honest, I'd love to write music for games, so who knows where my music might end up in the future!

You grow better. Great work. Nothing left to say.

5/5 Stars
Carry on! :)

Enzo07 responds:
